Win: Pearl Drops Pure White Whitening Treatment

pearl-drops-whitening-treatment-review

Everyone wants whiter teeth and anyone who says otherwise is a yellow-teeth liar. Yea I said that shit! The journey to whiter teeth can be a long one, full of many treatment options and price points. I have whitened my teeth throughout the years, from undergoing a £300 professional whitening treatment to using £2.99 whitening toothpaste. However the best whitening product I have ever used is insanely affordable and can be done quickly at home. It is the Pearl Drops Pure White Whitening Treatment (£24.99 Boots) and using it couldn't be easier. You just apply a brush-on brightening serum to the teeth, followed by a brush-on activator serum. You leave this on the teeth for 30 seconds, rinse out with water and then avoid food and drink for 20 minutes. It really is that simple!

True Brit London Launches

true-brit-london-review

True Brit London is a new brand that you need to know about.

It is a British nail care company that was founded by Kate Cavan, a nail expert who has devoted her career to the beauty industry, bringing some of the biggest professional nail care brands to the market. With over three decades of experience as a design consultant for a variety of cosmetic companies, she decided to launch her own nail brand. Kate’s aim was simple; to create a brand that exudes British luxury and design a range of nail care products that supersede all others in aesthetics and performance. She succeeded, launching True Brit London this year.

Weekly Worship: Phyto Phytokératine Extrême Exceptional Mask

phyto-phytokeratine-extreme-exceptional-mask-review

You might have noticed that I've been trialling more hair products than usual lately. Well, me and my hair have a shitty relationship; it's fine, flat and boring so I've never given it any attention. It doesn't fucking deserve it. However, in an effort to rekindle our romance, I've started to care for it a little better. Over the past month I've been using a variety of products that have really been helping my mane and one of which is the Phyto Phytokératine Extrême Exceptional Mask (£36.00 lookfantastic.com / $59.00 Sephora). I've been loving it...

Review: Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Dark Tones

moroccanoil-dry-shampoo-dark-tones-review

The Promise: "Moroccanoil® Dry Shampoo Dark Tones contains ultra-fine, oil-absorbing rice starch that removes buildup and odor, leaving hair instantly clean and refreshed"

The Price: £14.85 / $26.00 205ml

The Stockist: feelunique.com / moroccanoil.com

The Application: Moroccanoil's Dry Shampoo comes in a spray can which makes application clean and easy - the nozzle distributes the product evenly which I love. Now that sounds anal-as-fuck but when I use other dry shampoos, I can never get a steady amount of product to come out during each spray... leading to an uneven build-up of product in my hair.

News: #LoveYourHair With Dove

dove-love-your-hair

If there is one beauty brand out there that is thirsty to remove self-hate from this earth, it's Dove. For the past few years the beauty giant has been pushing a shit load of campaigns to encourage women to celebrate their individual beauty. Some campaigns have worked really well while others really haven't. However Dove is back with yet another one...and I kinda like it.

Weekly Worship: Batiste, Queen Tea & Nails Inc

Nails-Inc-Chelsea Gardens-Portobello Terrance-Soho Gardens-Review

In the past few weeks I've been trying a tone of products. So many that my bathroom cabinet cannot take any more shit. It's 100% done. The problem is, I've been loving a huge amount of the newbies I've been trying, so there is only one solution. Bigger-fucking-bathroom.

One of those products is the new Batiste Marrakech Dry Shampoo (£3.29 Boots). I've declared my obsession with Batiste Dry Shampoo too many times to mention, so my love for the brand is nothing new. That being said, this new fragrance is gorgeous and is fast becoming my favourite in the range. The scent is inspired by aromatic flavours, imagery and sounds of Morocco’s bazaars - as is the cute can it's housed in. For £3.29 you really can't go wrong...

Review: Perricone MD No Lipgloss Lipgloss

perricone-md-no-lipgloss-lipgloss-review

The Promise: "An anti-ageing lip serum designed to restore the colour and shine of youthful lips"

The Colour: Natural pink

The Price: £25.00 / $30.00 3.3ml

The Stockist: perriconemd.co.uk / Sephora

The Application: This lipgloss is lightweight and not remotely sticky, so it applies like a dream. You can apply it on naked lips or over any lipstick, however I tend to wear it alone as the shade is designed to mimic that youthful lip colour we had as babies and I need all the youthfulness a girl can fucking get.

News: Cara Delevingne Joins Rimmel

Cara Delevingne - the British model and all-round bad bitch - has been announced as the new face of Rimmel, joining Kate Moss, Georgia May Jagger and Rita Ora.

Cara is super stoked about the news (I mean, who the fuck wouldn't be?!), commenting “I’m honoured to be working with Rimmel. It’s the first make-up brand I was introduced to as a teenager. I’m a London girl through and through and Rimmel truly captures and represents the city’s edgy, cosmopolitan beauty styles”.

The official announcement will take place during a global Snapchat press conference on April 15th and, during the conference, fans can ask Cara beauty questions via the hashtag #RimmelxCara. She will pick her favourite ones and answer them live!

Grooming: It's All About Anthony

grooming-anthony-skincare-review

When it comes to which of the sexes has the best skincare brands at their fingertips, females win. Hands the fuck down. There are so many female-focused skincare brands out there, with products that are results-driven, packed full of quality ingredients and wrapped up in beautiful packaging. However male skincare brands and their products have always been lacking in those same qualities. Skincare products designed for men are usually mediocre (at best) or full of nasty-ass ingredients - shit, most of the time they're not even targeted at men...but their wives or girlfriends who don't really understand their man's individual grooming needs (sorry girls!). However there is one brand out there that takes a serious and sexy approach to male skincare....it's Anthony.

Review: Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque

dermalogica-charcoal-rescue-masque-review-swatch

The Promise: "This fast-acting, easy-to-remove masque rescues tired, lackluster or dull skin"

The Price: £38.00 / $46.00 75ml

The Stockist: liberty.co.uk / dermstore.com

The Application: The Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque applies surprisingly easily for a clay mask. It doubles as an exfoliator, so it feels a little gritty against the skin during application and even more so when it's being removed! It dries a few minutes after making contact with the skin and, once fully dried, skin is left frozen and tight in that classic clay mask way. However it doesn't crack, flake or feel anywhere near as uncomfortable as other clay masks; a big fucking bonus if you ask me.

Getting Body Beautiful

femfresh-uk-review-essential-daily-care

When it comes to skincare, the face always gets the most attention. Us beauty-obsessed bitches apply hundreds of products throughout our lives to keep our faces looking as good as possible, however our bodies are never shown the same level of love. It may be because we consider the skin on our body as less sensitive, needy or prone to ageing, or we could simply care less because our body is not on show at all times. However we get the pleasure of seeing ourselves naked on a daily basis...so why aren't we doing all we can to keep every inch of our skin perfect!?

I started thinking more about this towards of the end of last year and decided to make a change in 2016. I told myself I would pay more attention to my body and give it the beauty boost it needs. I succeeded in my quest for the perfect bodycare routine, finding the right type of products that work for me...

milk-london-review

Have you ever had one of those weeks where you are beyond busy. You know, work is mounting up and all your evenings are taken up with dinners and drinks (it's a hard life I know...) but you have a girls night on Saturday and don't have time for that must-needed salon visit. Well I have those weeks all the fucking time...too many to mention. However I recently discovered something that has helped in a big way. It is MILK.

News: L’Atelier du Sourcil Launches In London

They age gracefully, have bangin' bodies and stay forever flawless…but French girls have one more envy-inducing attribute to add to our obsession with them. Perfect brows.

Whilst we’ve been busy waxing, threading and pencilling in the hope of achieving eyebrow perfection, French women have continued to stay on fleek with minimal effort. You only have to look to Lou Doillon, Carine Roitfeld and Audrey Tautou to know the French brow game is strong. However their secret is out… and it’s Joss Devilleneuve, The French Eyebrow Queen. Luckily for us Brit girls, Joss recently landed in London to bring her award winning empire and 65th L’Atelier du Sourcil boutique to the UK...

Celebrating Scents

national-fragrance-week-review

If you give a shit about beautiful scents, you will know that the world celebrated National Fragrance Day last week. I would've celebrated but, well, I completely forgot (I'm a bad beauty blogger after all...). However I thought it was a good time to give you a fragrance update and share what scents I've been dowsing myself in over these past few months.

One of my favourites is Flower By Kenzo Eau Florale (from £53.00 theperfumeshop.com / $72.00 Sephora), a new take on an old classic that contains top notes of grapefruit and mandarin, middle notes of peony and Bulgarian rose and base notes of musk and vanilla. It is a limited-edition fragrance that carries a lively, fresh and feminine scent. It packs a real punch with great staying power to match! If that isn't enough, the beautiful poppy-embossed bottle it's contained in is to die for...
