Review: Redken Nature + Science All Soft Shampoo & Conditioner
Redken has combined the hair benefits provided by both nature and science to create a haircare range as natural as possible. Aptly named Nature + Science, the range is currently made up of three shampoos and three conditioners, one duo for colour treated hair, one for distressed hair, and one for dry and brittle hair. I've been trialing the All Soft duo, as I want my hair to shine for the Gods...

Ingredients 101: Kigelia Africana
Natural or Synthetic: Natural
Origin: Kigelia Africana is extracted from the bark, roots and fruits of the Kigelia Africana tree. The Kigelia Africana is part of the Bignoniaceae family and is often referred to as the 'Sausage Tree'.
Location: The Kigelia Africana grows throughout tropical Africa.
Beauty Benefits: Kigelia Africana has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and it has been used as a healing agent for centuries. It is also great for reducing inflammation and redness. However this amazing ingredient is most loved for its ability to tighten and firm the skin! And that's not the only thing it firms - women in southern parts of Africa are known to use the fruit of the Kigelia Africana on their breasts as a firming treatment!
Warnings: Kigelia Africana is safe to use topically.

Weekly Worship: NEOM Sensuous Candle
Price: £39.50 / $65.00 380g
Stockist: John Lewis / neomorganics.com
The NEOM Sensuous Candle is deserving of all of this week's worship. It is a Ylang Ylang, Frankincense & Patchouli scented candle that smells absolutely amazing - romantic and very relaxing. It contains 100% natural wax and pure essential oils, so when it burns you don't need to worry about inhaling any toxic fumes.
What makes this beautiful candle even better, is that it lasts a long time - it has three wicks and burns for up to 50 hours. Also, the glass container it comes in is absolutely gorgeous and makes a stylish addition to my dressing table. I am well and truly in love.
Tip: Leaving the candle to burn for at least two hours will ensure that the wax sets evenly when it cools.

Review: Priori Cellular Recovery Serum with DNA Enzyme Complex
The Promise: "Using a specific engineered liposome delivery system, Cellular Recovery Serum delivers powerful DNA repair enzymes and Vitamins C and E to the skin. This combination promotes self-healing to help improve the appearance of ageing skin"
The Price: £92.00 / $90.00 50ml
The Stockists: cosmestore.co.uk and dermstore.com
The Hero Ingredients: DNA Enzyme Complex™ and Oxyzomes
I have fallen in love with this serum. What makes it so amazing is that it mimics the skin’s own repair enzymes to normalise and repair skin cells. It is the only professional product to contain exclusive DNA Enzyme Complex™ which utilises three powerful enzymes from natural sources such as Algae and Mustard Seed combined with protective antioxidants for visible, clinically proven results. It is also 100% natural, paraben free, non-comedogenic and dermatologically tested.
The Application: As this serum is water-based, it is incredibly easy to apply and absorbs into the skin very quickly. I rub two pumps worth of product between my hands and then massage it into my face and neck. A little really does go a long way! This serum does not contain any fragrances, so it just smells like any other pharmaceutical beauty product (think La Roche-Posay).
The Results: Within seconds of applying this serum, skin feels extremely hydrated and refreshed. Fine lines appear reduced and skin looks lovely and plumped. After a week of using this serum, the condition of my skin had improved and I had gained a much-loved glow to my complexion.
The Pro: The Priori Cellular Recovery Serum really is great for the skin. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and gives skin a lovely natural glow.
The Con: It would be wrong to not highlight the price. This serum is very expensive, however you do get 50ml worth of product. I am also not a huge fan of the cheap-looking packaging. I would have expected something a bit more premium as the serum falls on the pricey side.
