Review: OPI Iceland AW17/18

To know me is to know my obsession with OPI nail lacquer. I have been brand-loyal for the last 10 years and recommend most products to most people. I recently got the chance to review the new OPI Iceland collection and I'm happy to confirm it's the perfect nail palette for AW17/18.

Weekly Worship: Guerlain, ESPA and Percy & Reed

The first of my beauty favourites this is the Guerlain Intense Liquid Matte Lipstick. These new liquid lipsticks are ultra creamy like a lipgloss but but still have that gorgeous matte finish. They are also highly pigmented regardless of your chosen colour and even contain hyaluronic acid and tiger grass to keep your lips smooth and plump.

Behind The Brand | Make Up For Ever

Date of Birth: 1984

Founding Mother: Dany Sanz

History: Dany Sanz's career started out in the world of art - working as a painter and sculptor, however it wasn't until she helped friends do full body makeup for a show that the idea of Make Up For Ever began. Considering theatrical makeup to be a means of artistic expression in itself, Sanz perfected the art of body painting. She became famous for her body paintings and these creations eventually caught the eye of professionals worldwide. Being a professor at heart, this recognition caused Sanz to create the first professional makeup school in Europe in the 70's. It was a huge success, thanks to the quality of Sanz's teaching, her nourishing of students and her amazing makeup techniques.

Grooming: Lacoste L'Homme EDT Review

L'Homme Lacoste is the new scent from Lacoste fragrances and boy is it a good one. Created by Michel Girard, the man behind Yves Saint Laurent Kouros Silver, Azzaro Pour Homme Elixir and Dunhill Pursuit, the scent captures the inimitable heritage of René Lacoste - tennis champion and creator of the Lacoste brand - who spent his life ignoring the rules.

Review: MINTD Beauty Subscription Service

Beauty subscription boxes have been in vogue for the last few years and their ever-growing popularity has brought with them designer collaborations, limited edition edits and niche offerings. The subscription service is perfect for beauty lovers that want to try new things, however the feedback I constantly hear is that monthly boxes often contain repeat products from past boxes, products they never get around to using or simply products that are less than desirable. It is rare to find a worthwhile beauty subscription box with that certain je ne sais quoi. However I recently found just that in MINTD, the world's first luxury beauty box.

Weekly Worship: Dr Gross, Oskia & Charlotte Tilbury

I've heard many great things about Oskia skincare however, up until recently, I had never tried any of the British brand's products. But a few weeks ago I got my hands on the Renaissance Brightlight, an Intensive Pigmentation & Dark Spot Serum, and I've been loving it.

Review: Lucia Magnani Retexturizing Radiance Mask

Earlier this year I got my hands on the new Lucia Magnani Retexturizing Radiance Mask and it was my first introduction to the luxury Italian skincare brand. The packaging is v. glam however, speaking honestly, my first thought was "this is some style over substance bullshit" however I was oh-so-wrong. This is some highly effective skincare.
