The British Beauty Council has appointed Kate Moss, supermodel and founder of COSMOSS, as its Global Ambassador, in an effort to raise the awareness and reputation of the British Beauty Industry.
Taking on the inaugural role of Global Ambassador, Moss will collaborate closely with the Council to spotlight its initiatives across areas such as policy, ESG, Talent, and Growth. With extensive experience in both fashion and beauty, Moss's influence is poised to be a significant asset for the Council.
Upon her appointment, Kate Moss commented:
‘Beauty is more than skin deep, it’s the heartbeat of the creative industry that’s helped build myn career, and the careers of so much creative talent, from hair and makeup stylists on set to the magicians behind the brands. Beauty – seen and unseen - touches everyone, from individuals to an industry. I am so proud to be part of it and honoured for this opportunity to join the British Beauty Council.’

The Council’s newly appointed Advisory Board includes experts such as Sam Chapman, Wendy Rowe, Loretta De Feo, and Melanie Grant.
Together with the current Ambassadors and Advisory Board members, these newly appointed experts will help steer the Council's future strategies, tackling challenges that span the breadth of the beauty industry.
