Gift Guide | Boys Boys Boys

My final gift guide of the year is here and it is all about the men. So let's get the fuck going...

If you've got a bearded boy, you have to hook him up with Mr Natty - a British grooming brand created by a barber and branded to absolute perfection (the products are great too). Mr Natty's Gym Recovery Kit makes for the perfect gift set and if you're looking for stocking fillers, the brand's Famous Beard Elixir and FFS Beard Shampoo work well too. If you're looking for something a little more affordable, there is also the L'Oreal Men Expert BarberClub range which is designed for boys with all sorts of beards. They have everything from a Short Beard & Face Moisturiser to a Beard, Face and Hair Wash and prices start at £9.99.
Skincare is also a good shout as men love to pamper themselves, but hate to admit it and never know what to get themselves. Origins is one of the best global beauty brands with a good range for men - I'd recommend either the Blade Runner Energizing Shave Cream or Save The Males Multi-Benefit Moisturiser. If you're looking for a skincare set, check out the Temple Spa Boy Eau Boy Grooming & Rechargin Essentials Set. It holds the perfect travel size essentials in a sleek black gift bag. Products include a cleansing gel-wash, soothing shave gel, shampoo, shower gel and calming skin balm.
I also can't recommend gifting fragrances enough - I mean you may as just be gifting yourself, as there is nothing more enjoyable than a gorgeous smelling man. One of the best fragrance launches this year has been the BVLGARI Man in Black Essence. This Alberto Morillas creation contains top notes of spices and rum, middle notes of musk and flowers and base notes of guaiac wood, resin and oriental notes. Perfect for the winter season, this scent has great projection and ever better lasting power. Another great option is the Montblanc Legend gift set, which includes a 50ml eau de toilette and 100ml shower gel. The Legend scent itself is soo goddamn good. The complex fragrance, created by Olivier Pescheux, contains top notes of lavender, lemon, bergamot and pinapple, middle notes of red apple, rose, geranium, coumarin, dried fruits and oak moss and base notes of tonka bean and sandalwood.

My final two fragrance favourites include the Armani Code Colonia and CLEAN Sueded Oud. Armani Code Colonia is a (relatively) new fragrance that puts a twist on the Armani Code classic. It contains top notes of bergamot, mandarin orange and pink pepper, middle notes of orange blossom, clary sage and amyl salicylate and base notes of tonka bean, amberwood and heliotrope. Like its predecessor, Armani Code Colonia is surprisingly long lasting for an eau de toilette - it also has impressive projection.

The CLEAN Sueded Oud is the perfect fragrance for men that like things a little unique. It features top notes of pimento, birch, cypress and incense, middle notes of honeysuckle, agarwood, night blooming jasmine, white magnolia, cactus and balsam fir and base notes of suede, patchouli, amber, praline, olibanum and musk. Sueded Oud is also unisex... so you can get in on the action too!

If you're looking for gifts that sit outside the realms of grooming, don't fret - I have some other suggestions. Boys love their toys, so you can't go wrong with games for the PS4 or Nintendo Switch. If he likes his music, the BOSE Solo 5 Sound Bar will make him super happy - as will a Spotify gift card (if you're strapped for cash). Failing that, give his dumb ass 24/7 life support with the Amazon Echo.

Matte Black

If your man loves his food, hook him up with some high spec cooking equipment or inspire him with some cookbooks - a great choice is The Sportsman by Stephan Harris. This new cookbook delivers 50 classic British recipes that blend age-old and modern techniques together to create the dishes Michelin-starred chef Stephan Harris is famous for.

Finally, if the boy is all about the stylish life, you can't go wrong with a Daniel Wellington watch, Moncler coat (if you're rich af) or Bailey Nelson shades. If those options aren't enough or you really are broke as balls, opt for a lifetime supply of sexual favours...
