The Tuesday Tip: How To Remove Too Much Blush

If you ever go blush crazy and end up looking more clown that cute, fear not! There is a very simple way of fixing the problem without having to redo your entire makeup.

If you overdose on powder blush, dust some loose translucent powder over your cheeks to diffuse the colour. On the other hand, if cream blush is to blame, tone it down by sponging the tiniest amount of liquid foundation over the top.

Christmas Shopping At The O2 Centre

Let's be honest, Christmas shopping is stressful. Stores are usually so packed with people throughout December that you'll be lucky if you can buy one thing without going insane. So when it comes to getting gifts, I tend to stay clear of the shops and go online. However I recently discovered a shopping destination perfect for people who dread Christmas shopping; the O2 Centre on Finchley Road.

Filled with shops, restaurants, hair salons and a cinema, the O2 Centre has everything needed to keep you relaxed when you shop and entertained when you stop. It is spacious and light and contains a small number of great stores, including Waterstones, Paperchase, Oliver Bonas and Tiger. It is also a shopping haven for home-lovers as BoConcept, Habitat and Homebase are also found in there!

Beauty-full Stocking

My favourite thing about Christmas are the stockings. I fucking love them; I love getting them, I love pulling present from them and I really love gifting them. So you won't be surprised to hear I've put together an edit of this year's best beauty stocking fillers...

Grooming: Christmas Gifts For The Guys

With the grooming industry ever growing, there are a huge number of gifts available for the true metrosexual man this Christmas. Here are some of my favourites...

Starting with the Aesop Perseus skincare set (£60.00 aesop.com). Aesop is a brand known for marrying cutting-edge technology with long-established scientific practices to create exceptional skincare products....much like the ones found in the Perseus skincare set. The serviceable tin box contains a trio of some of Aesop's favourite formulations, including the Fabulous Face Cleanser 100ml, Moroccan Neroli Post-Shave Lotion 60ml and Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser 200ml; everyday essentials that any guy would love to be gifted.

Christmas Gifts For The Girls

Christmas is fast approaching, so there isn't much time left to get gifting! Luckily I've been compiling some of the best presents to gift us girls to this year...

Starting with the gorgeous Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Parfum 50ml (£58.00 Boots). Featuring top notes of orange blossom, middle notes of jasmine and base notes of white honey, cedar, rose and patchouli, this fragrance is floral, feminine and intoxicating. It also packs a lot of power, so it is not a scent for the subtle girls; it is strong and intense and lasts for hours. Elie Saab Le Parfum is a classic fragrance that deserves a spot on any girl's dressing table.

Wednesday Wisdom: Sylvia Plath

“I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree in the story. From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked. One fig was a husband and a happy home and children, and another fig was a famous poet and another fig was a brilliant professor, and another fig was Ee Gee, the amazing editor, and another fig was Europe and Africa and South America, and another fig was Constantin and Socrates and Attila and a pack of other lovers with queer names and offbeat professions, and another fig was an Olympic lady crew champion, and beyond and above these figs were many more figs I couldn't quite make out. I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as I sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet”
