Beauty-full Stocking

My favourite thing about Christmas are the stockings. I fucking love them; I love getting them, I love pulling present from them and I really love gifting them. So you won't be surprised to hear I've put together an edit of this year's best beauty stocking fillers...

I love a good beauty gadget or tool in my stocking, so my first recommendation is the Beauty Blender Micro Minis (£13.50 Like their big sister, the Beauty Blender, Micro Minis are designed for effortlessly blending concealer, cream contour and crème blush or eyeshadow. However thanks to their adorable size, they are also able to access smaller contours of the face (for example around the nose, eyes and brow bones). Helmies are also a great beauty tool to stuff in your stocking. They are rubber protectors that you place over your toenails - 15 mins after applying nail polish - to protect your pedicure from bumps, chips and smudges. These little life savers are just £8.00 ( and really work, making them the perfect stocking stuffer for all pedicure-loving princesses.

Now there is no point gifting Helmies without giving a girl some nail polish, so I suggest adding Kure Bazaar nail lacquers to your stocking (£15.00 Kure Bazaar is a beautiful nail care brand; its polishes are ultra-shiny, long lasting and quick-drying and they are also 85% natural and free of toxic ingredients. To make sure your stocking features a little sparkle this Christmas, I would recommend two shades - Or Pur, a metallic gold, and Precious, a gorgeous glittery gold.

A good stocking should also be filled with great skincare products and The Body Shop's Frosted Plum Body Butter 200ml (£14.00 is the perfect example. This limited edition butter applies like a dream and leaves skin super soft and smelling amazing. A hand cream is also a stocking essential and you can't go wrong with the Pink O'Clock Hand & Cuticle Cream from Prismologie 75ml (£30.00 Space NK). This ultra-lightweight (and ultra-nourishing!) hand cream has a lotion-like consistency and gorgeous scent. Only the tiniest amount of product is needed per use and it absorbs into the skin very very quickly (no waiting around for your hands to dry here!).

Neals-Yard-Balance-Collection-Rose & Geranium-Review

The Neal's Yard Rose & Geranium Balance Collection (£15.00 also makes for a great skincare stocking stuffer. It features the brand's Rose & Geranium Show Gel 100ml and Body Lotion 50ml, two products that not only smell great but leave skin refreshed and nourished. I am also a huge fan of the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil 7ml (£18.00 This lip conditioner is rich is active plant ingredients that help to comfort and moisturise the lips with no oiliness or stickiness. It is a handbag must have!

Along with cotton pads, cotton buds and nail polish remover, the next product on my list is a stocking filler is dry shampoo. Not just any old dry shampoo either, the best dry shampoo on this earth; Batiste (£2.99 Boots). No one does dry shampoo quite like Batiste. Just a couple sprays of this hair hero leaves your locks fresh and smelling good. It also gives great texture and thickness to the hair. Considering each dry shampoo cost just £2.99, it would be a crime to not stuff one in your stocking.

My final and favourite Christmas stocking stuffer is the Tarte 15 Piece Deluxe Maracuja Lipgloss Collection (£31.50 Before I go into the gorgeous glosses themselves, it's important to mention they come divided up into three separate gift boxes, meaning you can stretch this one gift to three stockings!! The collection features a variety of berry, pink and red shades, some smooth and some sparkly! They suit all skin tones and the tubes are dinky enough to fit into the smallest of clutches. I dare you to find me one girl who wouldn't love this stocking filler!
