Urban Decay Naked Smoky review

When it comes to palettes, Urban Decay reign supreme. When the brand's Naked palette launched in 2010, the world was blessed with something it had never had before, an eye shadow palette in which every shade was wearable.

I am a huge fan of the Urban Decay Naked palettes, so obtaining the Naked Smoky was a serious must. This new Urban Decay palette provides 12 standout shades that help to create gorgeous smoky eye looks; everything from warm bronzes, and dimensional greys to gorgeous taupes and deep black. Smoky débuts nine never-before-seen shades, as well as three exclusives from past palettes.

As with all Urban Decay eye shadows, the 12 Smoky shades are highly pigmented, easy to blend and long lasting. Like its Naked predecessors, Smoky's shades suit all skin tones; my favourites include Armor, Smolder, High and Whisky. And the case that houses these sultry shades is nothing short of gorgeous. The strong, plastic case features a beautiful floating smoke design with gunmetal foil details, as well as a magnetic closure that prevents shadow mishaps in your makeup bag.

I fell for the Naked Smoky the second I laid eyes on it and, after a month of using it almost daily, I can confirm it is true love. Naked Smoky is the perfect partner for any makeup lover, so if you only buy one palette in 2015, make sure it is this one.
