Review | Beached State of Hydrate

State of Hydrate is a new mask from Beached. It is designed for those with dehydrated skin... so I obviously had to review it (for those that don't know, my skin is forever thirsty).

Before I get into my review, Beached is a stripped back skincare brand whose aim is to free us from lengthy skincare regimes and over flowing cupboards. So the Beached range consists of all-natural, multi-use products that'll keep your skincare simple.

As for State of Hydrate (£19 beautybay.com), it is a multi-tasking skin saviour that acts as either a rich moisturiser or a hydrating mask. It is formulated with Kakadu plum, the world’s highest known natural source of vitamin C, as well as aloe vera, hemp, and jojoba oils. It is designed to deliver bright, glowing, plump, and soft skin. But does it make good on that promise? Abso-f**king-lutely.

State of Hydrate has a rich consistency that feels more like a thick face cream than a mask. It feels lovely on the skin, spreads evenly and quickly, and only a small amount is required to cover the entire face. It is also scentless, which is a huge bonus for me,

How I apply this product depends on how I use it. If I'm masking, I apply a thick layer and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. However, if I'm using it as a moisturiser, I just apply a thin layer so my skin doesn't feel heavy and overloaded. Whether removed 10 minutes after application, or 10 hours, State of Hydrate wipes away effortlessly and quickly with a damp muslin cloth, without dragging or pulling on the skin. After every use, my skin is left feeling soft, hydrated, and well looked after.
