Murad-New-Retinol-Youth-Renewal-Collection-Review

Murad has just released the new and improved Retinol Youth Renewal Collection, which is great news for those seeking eternal looking youth, without the need for injectables...

The regenerated collection is powered by Dr Murad’s Retinol Tri-Active Technology which is "part preventative, part corrective, helping minimise the signs of ageing you can see and those you can’t see yet". Like the original collection, the three products included in Youth Renewal are highly effective but gentle. They are able to generate visible results without any downtime and are suitable for all ages and skin types. Products include the Retinol Youth Renewal Serum, Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum, and Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream. Each product is designed to visibly minimise lines and deep wrinkles, as well as even skin tone and boost radiance for a more youthful-looking complexion.

The Retinol Youth Renewal Serum (£75 Murad) - which just so happens to be the number one retinol product in the US - is my favourite product in the trio. It has a lightweight, lotion-like texture that feels gorgeous on the skin. In addition to the Retinol Tri-Active Technology, the serum contains swertia flower extract, which helps increase skin’s resilience to visibly boost firmness. Hyaluronic acid is also included to hydrate the skin and lock-in moisture.

The Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream (£70 Murad) contains niacinamide and picolinamide - as well as Retinol Tri-Active Technology - to help strengthen the skin’s protective barrier and improve texture. It is clinically-proven to improve firmness and radiance, minimise lines and deep wrinkles, and even skin tone. The Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream has a luxe creamy consistency that feels lightweight on the skin and - importantly for a night cream - absorbs relatively quickly.

After just two weeks of using both the Retinol Youth Renewal Serum and Night Cream, my skin looks more firm and radiant and my fine lines are reduced. I was really impressed with the duo's improvement on pigmentation. I have patches on my skin that resemble acne graveyards, packed with small red and brown marks left over from salty pimples that wanted to cause permanent damage. Since using the serum and night cream, these spots have lightened in colour and are now less noticeable.

As for the Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum (£70 Murad), this product is equally as impressive as its partners. Its hero ingredients include cotton wool grass extract - that delivers 24 hours of hydration, and Marine Kelp Complex - that helps visibly lift and firm the eye area. It also features illuminators for enhanced brightening of the eye area. With a thin consistency and lightweight texture, this eye serum is easy to apply, with only a tiny amount of product being required per use. It doesn't irritate the delicate eye area and - praise Jesus - doesn't cause milia. In fact, retinol has been shown to help reduce milia! The Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum has helped to reduce the appearance of fine lines and brighten my eye area. Now it doesn't eradicate my dark circles... what product does!? However it has transformed my eye area in ways I didn't expect.
