Review | L’ATELIER GREEN Nail Polish

L’ATELIER GREEN is a French nail brand focused around nail health and nourishment.

The brand was founded by sisters, Hamida and Yasmine, who have over 15 years of beauty industry experience. The sisters, whose experience lies in the natural beauty world, saw a gap in the market for a nail varnish and treatments that looked beautiful and cared for nails. They understood the need for a product that not only provided a gorgeous colour, shine, and long-lasting effect, but one that nourished nails. The result was L’ATELIER GREEN, a nail brand that creates polishes that are truly kind and gentle to the nails, allowing them to breath whilst never compromising on colour and shine.

There are currently 10 nail colours in the range, including a base coat, top coat, and nail treatment. The polishes are breathable, water permeable, bio sourced, vegan, and cruelty free. They are also formulated without the 13 major toxic ingredients you find in many mass-market nail polishes - DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Fomaldehyde Resin, Xylene, Camphor, Nickel, Ethyl Tosylamide, Triphenyl Phosphate, Parabens, Benzophenone 1&2, Styrene, and animal derivatives.

Whatever the shade, L’ATELIER GREEN polishes are highly pigmented, easy to apply, and long lasting. They have a smooth texture, a gorgeous finish, and - importantly - aren't quick to chip. I get a good week's wear out of the polish before I even think of reapplying.

L’ATELIER GREEN polishes start at £15.99 and are available from lateliergreen.com.
