Review | Decléor Antidote serum

Decléor-Antidote-serum-review

Decléor's Antidote serum, one of the Parisian brand's latest launches, is a multitasking product that is formulated with 97% of natural ingredients. It promises to refine, moisturise, and firm the skin, as well as protect it from free radical damage and prevent water loss. It is designed to be used on all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Antidote (£49 feelunique.com) has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly and sits well under makeup and other skincare products. It also sits comfortably on the skin and instantly hydrates, thanks to the inclusion of a low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. As Decléor is an aromatherapy brand, the Antidote serum, like all Decléor products, is scented. The serum's scent compromises of peppermint, sandalwood, and patchouli. I personally love it, however as it's quite prominent, those that want their skincare as unscented as possible may want to give this one a miss.

As for its skin benefits, the Antidote serum makes good on its promise. After a few weeks of use, my skin is healthier, glowing, and more hydrated. Not only has my skin improved during the last few weeks, it has done so without needing to drain the 30ml bottle. This is because only a small amount of product is needed per application, providing a great return on a £49 skincare investment.
