Get Me Bodied | The Best In Bodycare

The body is an area we often neglect when it comes to beauty. However there are a huge number of products out there that not only make our bodies look and feel good, but also provide pampering pleasure. Here are some of my recent favourites...

First up is a brand that is excelling in the beauty stakes, Glossier. And lying in the brand's much-loved range is my holy trinity of bodycare products - the Body Hero Daily Oil Wash (£15 glossier.com), Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream (£18 glossier.com) and Balm Dotcom (£10 glossier.com).

The Body Hero Daily Oil Wash is formulated with seven nourishing oils that attract dirt for easy removal without stripping the skin of its natural oils. It turns into a soft froth when worked into the skin and helps to leave skin feeling soothe and hydrated. After showing I use the Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream which absorbs very quickly (you can pop clothes on in a matter of minutes!) to leave skin feeling instantly hydrated. What makes this body cream super dope is it contains light-reflecting particles that give you an instantaneous glowy sheen. The final saviour in the trinity is the famous Balm Dotcom, a skin salve that can be used on just about any part of the body, inc. face and hair. It is packed with powerful antioxidants and natural emollients that nourish, hydrate and repair dry and chafed skin.

Another great multipurpose balm is the Frances Prescott Tri Balm (£39 francesprescott.com). Formulated to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise in just one simple step, the Tri Balm is cruelty-free and made with natural ingredients (no harmful chemicals, parabens, silicones or synthetics found in this bad boy!). It has a thick, buttery consistency that removes makeup effortlessly but also feels lightweight on the skin. It is incredibly hydrating and nourishing and - as it comes in stick form - is the perfect travel companion when using a carry-on.

If you're looking to deeply cleanse the body, I recommend the Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Body-Buffing Cleanser (£22 johnlewis.com). This refreshing cleanser gently exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin cells and dirt to leave behind uber clean and ultra soft skin. It also smells amazing and - surprisingly for a body scrub - a little product goes a long way.... all 100ml of it.

If you're looking for more of an all-round pampering experience, you have to try the L’Occitane Almond Collection... one of the best scented ranges in the bodycare game. There are ten nourishing products in the collection (£8 debenhams.com), ranging from shower oils and shower scrubs to hand creams and body serums. The L'Occitane Almond scent is so gorgeous that resisting the urge to eat every product is a hard one.
