Christmas Gift Guide | The Best Gifts For Gen-Zers

Gen-Zers (those born between 1997 and 2012) are probably the easiest group to find gifts for this Christmas, as they will pretty much be happy with anything that's trending on TikTok. For those that can't face scrolling the social media platform in search of the perfect present, I've rounded up some of the best gifts on offer this year. You're welcome.

Fenty Beauty | Glossy Posse Volume 6.0 Gloss Bomb TrioMy first recommendation is a gift for the lipgloss lovers. It is the Fenty Beauty Glossy Posse Volume 6.0 Gloss Bomb Trio (£34 Harvey Nichols), a set of three different lip formulas guaranteed to deliver seriously juicy lips.

The first product in the trio is the Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip Lip in Fenty Glow. Formulated with vitamin A to nourish lips, this medium to full-coverage colour provides brilliant shine with a non-sticky feel and light peach-vanilla scent.

Next up is Gloss Bomb Heat in Glass Slipper Heat. It is formulated with Plump Job Complex, an innovative blend of ingredients - including ginger root oil and capsicum fruit extract (pepper) - to gently titillate and plump the lips. Conditioning shea butter and vitamin E are also included to help lock-in moisture. The comfortable and nourishing gloss boasts a beautifully smooth texture with a hint of tint.

The final product in the trio is the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Pink Dragonfly. It is formulated with conditioning shea butter and provides a sheer wash of colour with an incredible shimmer finish. Its non-sticky formula is super shiny and delivers a lovely peach-vanilla scent.

Too Faced | Maple Syrup Pancakes Eyeshadow Palette
Another great gift for any glam girl is an eyeshadow palette. No one does eyeshadow palettes quite like Too Faced, and the brand's new Maple Syrup Pancakes Eyeshadow Palette (£48 lookfantastic.com) is no exception.

Packed with warm, maple syrup pancake-scented shadows, the Maple Syrup Pancakes Eyeshadow Palette delivers a number of gorgeous daytime and nighttime looks. It features 18 gorgeous limited-edition shades ranging from buttery mattes to sizzling rich metallics, all of which are highly pigmented, easily blendable, and have great lasting power.

Lisa Jewell | None of This is True
For the crime junkies, I recommend gifting Lisa Jewell’s latest book None of This is True (£14 WHSmith).

None of This is True begins with podcaster Alix Summer celebrating her 45th birthday at her local pub. That night, Alix crosses paths with an unassuming woman called Josie Fair. Josie is also celebrating her 45th too. A few days later, they bump into each other again, this time outside Alix's children's school. Josie says she thinks she would be an interesting subject for Alix's podcast. She is, she tells Alix, on the cusp of great changes in her life.

Alix agrees to a trial interview and indeed, Josie's life appears to be strange and complicated. Aix finds her unsettling but can't quite resist the temptation to keep digging. Slowly Alix starts to realise that Josie has been hiding some very dark secrets, and before she knows it Josie has cajoled her way into Alix's life - and into her home.

None of This is True is the perfect book to get any girl through the cold and boring January nights.

Philip Kingsley | Megawatt Shine
Hair-obsessed girls who long for glossy locks will love the Philip Kingsley Megawatt Shine gift set (£38 beautybay.com).

Included in this gift set is Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer Deep-Conditioning Treatment (40ml), Moisture Balancing Combination Shampoo (170ml), Moisture Balancing Combination Conditioner (150ml), and Finishing Touch Polishing Serum (20ml).

The iconic Elasticizer Deep-Conditioning Treatment is a strength-enhancing pre-shampoo treatment that is clinically proven to reduce breakage and bring dry, frizzy, tangled strands back to life. The Moisture Balancing Combination Shampoo thoroughly cleanses the scalp and hair while simultaneously delivering moisture to the mid-lengths and ends. The Moisture Balancing Combination Conditioner is formulated with nourishing, strengthening, and anti-static ingredients, to hydrate dry mid-length and ends without weighing the hair down. It detangles hair in seconds, leaving it light, smooth, and super shiny. Finally, the Finishing Touch Polishing Serum is a silky, conditioning serum that nourishes, protects, and controls the hair, helping to create smooth, frizz-free styles.

Stanley | Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler
The TikTok-viral Stanley cup is a must-gift for any Gen-Zer. It is a large 1.2L water bottle that uses vacuum insulation to keep water hot for 7 hours or cold for 11 hours, 2 days when iced.

The advanced FlowState lid features a rotating cover with three positions: a straw opening to resist splashes while holding the reusable straw in place, a drink opening, and a full-cover top. The ergonomic handle includes comfort-grip inserts for easy carrying, and the narrow base fits just about any car cup holder.

The Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler (£45 Millets) is available in 11 colours and is made using 90% recycled 18/8 stainless steel.

Ultimate Ears | WONDERBOOM 3
For the music lovers that want their tunes to-go, I recommend gifting the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 3 Bluetooth Waterproof Portable Speaker (£79 ultimateears.com).

This ultra-portable and waterproof speaker is crisp, bassy, and ready to entertain for hours with up to 14 hours of surprisingly big 360° booming sound. It boasts an IP67 rating meaning it’s waterproof and dust-proof... and it even floats. So you can take it to the beach, the pool, and into the shower without worry.

Sol de Janeiro | Bum Bum Body Obsession
For the body care loving babes, you can't go wrong with the Bum Bum Body Obsession set from Sol de Janeiro, a Gen-Z favourite.

The Bum Bum Body Obsession (£67 lookfantastic.com) includes five products featuring the brand’s iconic and universally loved Cheirosa 62 fragrance. The five featured products are the Bum Bum Body Firmeza Oil (12ml), Bum Bum Body Scrub (70g), Brazilian 4 Play Body Gel Wash (90ml), Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (240ml), and Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist (90ml).

The Bum Bum Body Firmeza Oil is a firming, non-greasy body oil that provides deep nourishment and reduces feelings of puffiness. The Bum Bum Body Scrub is an ultra-fine body scrub and spa-worthy treatment that gently exfoliates and nourishes the body with a microbead-free blend. The Brazilian 4 Play Body Gel Wash is a lathering wash infused with naturally powerful ingredients from the Amazon, including a blend of nourishing cupuaçu butter, skin-conditioning coconut oil, and the antioxidant superpower of açaí. The Brazilian Bum Bum Cream – Sol de Janeiro’s most iconic offering, visibly smooths and tightens the skin's appearance thanks to potent, caffeine-rich guaraná and fast-absorbing cupuaçu butter. Finally, the Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist provides the delicious notes of pistachio, salted caramel, and vanilla to leave you smelling gorgeous in seconds.

MAGNITONE London | BareFaced 3 Vibra-Sonic Brush
Another great beauty gift is the MAGNITONE London BareFaced 3 Vibra-Sonic Brush (£89.99 lookfantastic.com). It is a skincare device designed to cleanse and massage the skin, elevating one of the most important steps in any skincare routine: cleansing.

Suitable for daily use and all skin types, the BareFaced3 device can be used with any cleanser and its handy built-in zonal timer guarantees the most effective cleanse. It boasts Vibra-Sonic technology that uses a patented combination of sonic oscillations and pulsed vibration to help move impurities away from the skin and promote a radiant-looking appearance.

The BareFaced 3 brush features a SiliSoft Silicone Cleanse Head that uses ultra-soft silicone bristles and a unique sweep-swirl design to deliver an effective yet gentle cleanse. The silicone bristles remain in their original shape over time, removing the need for regular replacing. The device also comes with a ToneItUp Massage Head to provide an uplifting massage. Designed to be used after applying serums and moisturisers, this massage head helps bring a spa-like touch to any skincare regime.

Garnier | Ultimate Mask Trio
If you’re looking for a more affordable skincare gift, I recommend the Garnier Ultimate Mask Trio (£13 Tesco).

This nourishing gift set contains a mask for the face, eye contours, and hair. Included is the Garnier Moisture Bomb Pomegranate Hydrating Mask, Banana & Shea 3-in-1 Hair Mask, and Moisture Bomb Hyaluronic Acid & Orange Juice Eye Sheet Mask.

The Moisture Bomb Pomegranate Hydrating Mask is a super hydrating revitalising sheet mask for dehydrated skin. Enriched with natural plant extracts and hyaluronic acid, the vegan tissue mask plumps skin with moisture, reduces the look of fine lines, and revives radiance for skin that glows. The Ultimate Blends Banana Hair Food Hair Mask is a 3-in-1 intensive hair treatment that can be used in 3 different ways - as a conditioner, as a rinse-out hair mask, and as a leave-in conditioner. The vegan formula is made with 98% natural origin ingredients, including the ultra-moisturising banana and shea. Finally, the Moisture Bomb Hyaluronic Acid & Orange Juice Eye Sheet Mask is a super brightening and refreshing eye sheet mask designed to treat tired and dull eye contours. Enriched with natural plant extracts, orange juice, and hyaluronic acid, this ultra-thin tissue mask leaves the eye area looking brighter, more refreshed, and more awake.

MULGER | Angel
For the fragrance fans, Mugler's iconic Angel will make for the perfect present. This globally loved amber vanilla scent first launched in 1992 and was the creation of master perfumers Olivier Cresp and Yves de Chirin.

Angel (£92 The Perfume Shop) features top notes of cotton candy, coconut, cassis, melon, jasmine, bergamot, pineapple, and mandarin orange, middle notes of honey, red berries, blackberry, plum, apricot, jasmine, peach, orchid, nutmeg, caraway, rose, and lily-of-the-valley, and base notes of patchouli, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, tonka bean, amber, musk, and sandalwood.

The Positive Planner
For the wellbeing girls that celebrate self-care, I recommend gifting the Positive Planner, a 12-week journal that focuses around self-care, gratitude, and daily positivity.

The Positive Planner (£22 Oliver Bonas) was created to encourage people to make journaling and mindfulness an everyday practice. The planner features sections dedicated to daily intentions and reflections, as well as a mood checker and lots of useful tools designed to enhance positivity and manage your wellbeing. It is also still very much a planner, and features everyday organisational extras such as meal planners, shopping lists, and monthly diary spreads. This is the perfect gift for girls that want to get organised, get productive, and - most importantly - get positive.

Abbott Lyon | Custom Name Bracelet
My final gift recommendation comes from Gen-Z favourite, Abbott Lyon.

It is the brand's Custom Name Bracelet (from £79 abbottlyon.com), the perfect gift for girls that like to get personal. Available in gold, rose gold, and silver, this affordable bracelet can be customised with up to eight letters and three chain styles. There is also the option to add one or two charms, as well as purchase a half price layering chain.

As with all Abbott Lyon products, the Custom Name Bracelet comes with a two year warranty and is made with the highest standards of plating. It is also extra durable and water-resistant, meaning no tarnishing and no green wrists.
