Inspired by the image of a freshly-picked rose gilded by rays of sunlight, Eau de Parfum Lumineuse is the creation of perfumer Ane Ayo.
“I wanted to reinterpret the iconic Chloé Signature rose by guiding it into new territory,” explains Ayo. “The idea was to create a wonderfully warm, delicate rose, and to bring out a more sensual facet of Chloé femininity without ever compromising on elegance.”
The fragrance captures the richness and complexity of a rose, embellished with velvety tones of sambac jasmine to form a solar, almost sensuous bouquet. Vanilla amplifies the fragrance's floral core, whilst amber and balsamic notes deliver an addictive and feminine finish.
Like its predecessors, Lumineuse's formulation is notably pared-back: it contains natural-origin fragrance, alcohol, and water, staying true to Chloé's much-loved simplicity.
The bottle for Eau de Parfum Lumineuse pays homage to Chloé's iconic stitching, which features on an array of iconic garments and accessories from the Mony line. Echoing this Maison trademark for the first time, a delicate pink thread hems the beige ribbon tied to the bottle’s neck, effortlessly evoking the radiance of this new fragrance.
Highlighting Chloé’s ongoing commitment to sustainable luxury, the bottle incorporates 25% recycled glass, and the ribbon adorning it is made from 100% recycled polyester.
Eau de Parfum Lumineuse launches nationwide today and is available at select retailers and Chloé boutiques worldwide. It can be purchased in three sizes, 30ml for £59, 50ml for £88, and 100ml for £125.
