The Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream promises to deliver plump-looking, baby soft skin by replenishing lipid levels and strengthening skin’s natural moisture barrier. I, of course, had to review it to see if it makes good on its promise.
Starting with its formula, the Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream features vitamin F, coconut, and ceramides 3, 6, & 9 to strengthen and hydrate the skin. Beet root and red algae extracts are also included to balance and address the short and long-term causes of dehydration. If that's not enough, there is also a high concentration of fatty acids and antioxidants in pomegranate sterols to protect skin from environmental stressors responsible for premature aging.
ICE has the most gorgeous rich texture. In fact, it is one of the best I've experienced in a longtime. It reminds me of one of my all time favourite moisturisers that is sadly no longer available. I'm talking about the Kiehl's Multi-Corrective Cream (although the brand has recently launched a new and improved version which I'm desperate to try!) Anywho, back to ICE. It is gorgeously thick and feels uber luxurious on the skin. Its richness does mean it takes a little longer to spread across my face and neck, however I'm talking about an additional 10 seconds, that's all! It absorbs incredibly quickly, leaving a smooth surface that makes for the perfect foundation or primer base. It also feels weightless on the skin, a real surprise considering its thickness!
As for the impact on my skin, Sunday Riley's ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream has kept it hydrated, nourished, and plump. It is the perfect all rounder for me and I couldn't recommend it enough, particularly for those with dry and dehydrated skin.
The Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream cost £60 for 50ml and is available from Space NK, Harrods, and cultbeauty.co.uk.
