Weekly Worship: Urban Veda, EOS & CODE Beautiful

During the last month a few products have managed to sneak themselves into my beauty routine. I don't just love these products - I'm addicted to them.

The first is CODE Beautiful's Volumising Lengthening Mascara (£19.95 code-beautiful.com). I've tried several mascaras in my time; some nasty but some seriously ballin'. I actually own two mascaras that guarantee greatness (I'm looking at you Elizabeth Arden's Grand Entrance Mascara and Benefit's They're Real Mascara), so I rarely entertain anything new...but then the Volumising Lengthening Mascara wand-ered into my life...

This mascara is a product of new brand CODE Beautiful and - like its competitors - claims to give fabulous lift, length and volume to your lashes. But it actually does. No fucking joke. If applied correctly, this mascara lifts the lashes perfectly without any clumping whosoever - no matter the number of layers you apply! I can even add a fresh coat hours after the first application with great results. It is a fibre based mascara that also contains vitamins and waxes to help encourage lash growth. Winner.

Now the next beauty fav isn't so much a product I've fallen in love with but more fallen back in love with. Brilliant beauty products often get forgotten about by the best of us - I bet there are one or two hero products at the back of your beauty cabinet suffering from abandonment issues right now! But the product I've recently re-discovered is the EOS balm; a beauty classic. EOS lip balms (£6.50 Boots / $2.96 walmart.com) are found all over this sweet earth and are slowly making more of a mark here in Britain - we have their entry into Boots to thank.

However it's really no surprise these balms are global - and loved by too many celebs to mention - because they are perfectly shaped, perfectly scented and perfectly softening. My. Lips. Can't. Get. Enough. The 100% natural balms come in a crazy number of flavours too - everything from blackberry nectar and coconut milk to cherry and sweet mint. So if you haven't already tried an EOS Lip Balm you need to; your lips will thank you for it!

The final favourite comes from natural skincare brand Urban Veda and it's the Rose + Botanics Reviving Body Scrub (£12.99 urbanveda.co.uk). I've been focusing on bodycare recently (find out why here), incorporating products into my routine that help keep my skin clean, soft and trouble-free. This body scrub is one of them, obvs. It is a gentle gel scrub that exfoliates the skin without stripping it of moisture or causing irritation. It is so gentle that it can be used daily...if you have that kind of time of course. It contains volcanic pumice and peach seed powder (natural exfoliants), as well as moisturising and healing rosehip and evening primrose. But one of the best things about this scrub is its scent - a combination of borage, jasmine, pomegranate and rose damask flower water. It's a true bathroom beaut.
