The Promise: "Intensely nourishing, silky-smooth balm instantly melts into skin. Luxe, lightweight formula deeply conditions to restore comfort and radiance. Skin feels delightfully supple, soft".

The Price: £26.00 100ml

The Stockist: clinique.co.uk

The Skin Type: Suitable for all skin types but great for those with dry skin

The Application: The Moisture Surge Melting Mask Balm has a solid consistency that turns buttery smooth the second it comes into contact with the skin. Once melted, it applies quickly, gliding over the skin effortlessly. Unlike other masks, it absorbs into the skin almost completely and doesn't need to be rinsed off; you just remove any excess product with a tissue.

Interestingly, this mask doesn't feel or look like a face mask at all. It doesn't apply like a face mask and certainly doesn't sit on the skin like one. In fact, when the mask is fully applied, it would be difficult for anyone to know you're actually wearing one, which is a big benefit for most people.

The Results: The Melting Mask Balm makes good on its promise, injecting the skin with moisture. I usually apply the mask before bed and, when I do, I wake up with soft and supple skin.

The Pro: This mask provides the skin with a great moisture boost!

The Con: Although it provides great results, the Melting Mask Balm doesn't look or feel like a face mask. Call me crazy but I love the traditional face mask experience.
