What's The Beau(Tee)? | Avon & Coppafeel! Launch Digital Breast Cancer Education Tool

Encase y'all girls didn't know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, to support the cause, the good folks at Avon and Coppafeel! have just announced they're launching the first ever digital breast cancer education tool.

This new digital learning tool, CoppaCollege, was developed after research found a quarter of women still aren’t sure how to check their breasts. Just 30% of gals check their breasts on a regular monthly basis, with the main problem being a lack of understanding in what to look for.

CoppaCollege is the first e-learning tool from a UK breast cancer charity, allowing women to access a ‘boobipedia’ of information about the risks, signs and symptoms and where to seek advice and help. “Our research shows that not only is there a gap in confidence when it comes to checking, but there is also a hunger for more education when it comes to getting to know your boobs, and CoppaCollege is perfectly placed to meet this need.” says Natalie Kelly, CEO of CoppaFeel!.

CoppaCollege continues AVON’s 25 year Breast Cancer Promise to ensure women throughout the UK are breast health aware. And this couldn't be more important, as 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime and breast cancer is still the most common cancer among females in the UK.

The tool is the first initiative to fall under the brand’s global Pink Light Project, which seeks to reach 50 million women across the world to ensure they know the risks, know the signs and know where to get help when faced with breast cancer.
