Review | OLE HERIKSEN Lemonade Smoothing Scrub

When it comes to exfoliating, I normally reach for a chemical exfoliator over a physical one. However, every now and then a product comes around that does both and I fall in love. The Ole Heriksen Lemonade Smoothing Scrub is one of those products.

The Lemonade Smoothing Scrub (£25 Boots) is a refreshing dual-action sugar face scrub that both physically and chemically exfoliates the skin. It is a product inspired by lemonade and the key elements of that iconic beverage: lemons, acid, and sugar. t's formula features glycolic and lactic acid to loosen and lift dead skin cells, as well as lemon peel powder and ultra-fine sugar exfoliants to gently remove them. Holy basil and chamomile extracts are also included to help calm and soothe the skin.

I love using this product. Application is a breeze. The scrub works into the skin effortlessly and feels effectively abrasive without being irritating. It also wipes away easily leaving no residue behind. It has a very lemony scent which is nice and refreshing... perfect for a much-needed morning pick-me-up.

As promised, it leaves skin cleaner, softer, and brighter. My partner loves this product as much as me, so it's definitely on the repurchase list!
