Review | Wishful Thirst Trap Juice Serum

Wishful's Thirst Trap Juice is a highly hydrating serum that was born from the brand's already popular Cocoon Mask.

When creating the Thirst Trap Juice formula, Wishful used some of the same super-potent ingredients from the Cocoon Mask. However, it supercharged them by using three types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA3), as well as firming peptides, to better hydrate and strengthen the skin. The cross-over ingredients include hollyhock rose to moisturise and aloe vera to soothe and nourish. The end result is a serum designed to deeply hydrate and regenerate he skin, whilst also providing noticeable anti-aging benefits.

I've really been loving this serum. It has a beautiful water-based consistency that glides onto the skin effortlessly and absorbs incredibly quickly. Its bottle has also been designed with a tight neck, ensuring that product doesn't end up on the outside of the pipet as you pull it out. This may not sound like a big deal, but there is nothing more annoying and messy than having product dripping from the outside of a pipet, rather than from the inside as intended.

The Thirst Trap Juice instantly hydrates my skin and is so lightweight that it feels as though nothing was ever applied. I experience no tightness either - just healthy and hydrated skin and feels baby soft. Importantly for me, this serum sits really well under other skincare products and makeup. After a month of using it, I've also noticed a reduction in my fine lines!

The Thirst Trap Juice Serum is available in two sizes, 30ml for £41 and 10ml for £17 (Boots).
