The Gift Edit: Stocking Fillers

I am obsessed with Christmas stockings. How can you not love massive socks filled with wonderful little gifts?! Now choosing stocking fillers can be a difficult task. However, if you are compiling a stocking for a beauty addict, you are in luck. There are almost too many things you could include! Here are some of my favourites...

First up, lets start with the cheap essentials - cotton pads, cotton buds, nail polish remover and nail files etc. A girl can never  have enough of these items and, lucky for you, they are easily available at local drug stores or supermarkets. Although not a cheap beauty essential, a quality pair of tweezers also make a great stocking filler. As far as I'm concerned, tweezers don't get better than the Tweezerman Slant Tweezer (£20.95 John Lewis / $22.00 Sephora). Lip balm are also great; the Rodial Stemcell Superfood Glam Balm Lip SPF15 7ml (£17.00 Debenhams / $22.00 skinstore.com) is a personal favourite as it hydrates, nourishes and plumps the lips! And lets not forget about hairspray - another beauty must-have! Percy & Reed has a mini version of its hero Reassuringly Firm Session Hold Hairspray (£6.00 John Lewis). This 50ml can provides the perfect strong hold for gals on the go!

Moving on to products will a little more glamour, I recommend the new Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss Trio (£29.00 Selfridges / $48.00 bobbibrowncosmetics.com), featuring three gorgeous colours. Midnight Violet, Pink Pop and Pink Sunset make up the threesome and, like all Bobbi Brown lip gloss colours, these are highly pigmented and have real lasting power. I also recommend a sparkly nail polish because, well, what's more perfect for the party season?! I love the new Ciaté Paint Pot in Fairy Whisper 13.5ml (£9.00 ciatelondon.com), a gorgeous polish packed with gold and red glitter. Talking of nail polish, the Nails Inc SOS Nail Pen (£12.00 Debenhams / $12.00 Macy's) is a great stocking filler for any nail colour lover. This handy accessory cleans up mani and pedi disasters easily and super quickly.

Finally, bringing skincare into the mix, I recommend the Nip + Fabs Glycolic Fix (£12.99 Boots / $12.99 ULTA). These pads are perfect for girls prone to acne breakouts or just those girls wanting to keep their skin in tip-top condition. I also love the Paul & Joe Treatment Balm 27ml (£20.00 Selfridges / $30.00 Dermstore.com) and Dr. Lipp 15ml (£11.50 Space NK / $14.50 birchbox.com), two amazing skin saviours that help to moisturise, treat and  protect the skin.
